Industry Manufacturing / Supply Chain

A manufacturing founder knew AI was going to matter. He didn't know where to start. Two days of focused training later, he had the mental model, the tools, and the confidence to start building. Six months after that, he had a fully operational, multi-user, AI-powered ERP system running in Azure. This is how that happened.

Aware of the opportunity. Unsure where to begin.

The client was running a product and manufacturing business. His days were full of the kind of operational work that AI can genuinely help with: BOM management, supplier coordination, costing, supply chain decisions. He knew AI was moving fast. He knew it was going to matter.

What he needed was someone to cut through the noise, show him what was actually useful, and give him the foundation to build on his own terms. Not a list of prompts. A mental model.

That is where the engagement began: a single day of hands-on AI skills training.

"With the understanding, tools and hands-on guidance from WebuildYourAI, I can now build and ship end to end — continuously, at scale, with a fraction of the time to market. Unbelievable."
Jordan Underwood, Founder, Playmate Labs Ltd
Two days. Foundational skills and embedded capability.

The training was structured in two focused sessions, each building on the last. Not a survey of every AI tool on the market. A direct, practical programme built around what this business could actually use and act on immediately.

Day One

AI Skills Foundation

Prompting, workflow integration, and how to think about AI as a business capability rather than a feature. By the end of day one, there was a working understanding of where AI could add value inside the business and a clear set of things to try immediately.

Day Two

MCP: Model Context Protocol

Model Context Protocol is where AI moves from assistant to embedded capability: connecting AI to the tools and systems a business already runs on. This session opened the door to building AI into the fabric of operations, not just using it as a chatbot.

A fully functional, multi-user, AI-powered ERP. In Azure. Built by the founder.

After two days of training, the client didn't go back to using AI for occasional tasks. He started building. What began as automating internal processes evolved into something significantly more ambitious: a bespoke, multi-user ERP system, hosted in Azure, with AI integrated throughout.

This is not a configured SaaS product. It is a purpose-built platform, built by a founder who had two days of training behind him.

Module 01

Bill of Materials

Full BOM management with AI surfacing discrepancies, flagging supplier changes, and keeping the product build process clean and accurate.

Module 02

Cost of Goods

Real-time COGs visibility, with AI modelling the impact of supplier price changes and production decisions before they are made.

Module 03

Supply Chain Management

End-to-end supply chain tooling, with AI streamlining decisions that previously lived in spreadsheets or, more often, in someone's head.

Fortnightly coaching. Ongoing progress. No dependency.

The engagement has evolved to match the client's progress. Every two weeks, a half-day check-in reviews what has been built, guides what comes next, and supports how to harden and secure what already exists.

The result is not dependency on a consultant. It is a founder who can build, with a senior technical partner to pressure-test decisions as the complexity increases.

Training that multiplies

Most AI training teaches people to use tools. This was different. The goal was to give the client a mental model for how AI fits into a business. Mental models compound: every new problem, every new tool, every new capability is now approached with a framework that makes the person more capable than they were the week before.

One training day became a competitive advantage

One day of training became two. Two days became a system. A system became an ERP. An ERP is now a platform that would cost significantly more to buy off the shelf, built precisely to fit the business that runs it.
